A. J. Byrd House – c. 1925
This one-story, side-gabled bungalow is three-bays wide and triple pile. The house has a full-width gabled front porch supported by vinyl-covered posts on brick piers. The house retains its historic form, but no original materials. It has vinyl siding, vinyl-covered porch posts, and vinyl-covered knee brackets in the gable ends. Vinyl windows are smaller than the original four-over-one windows and a French door on the right side of the façade has been replaced with a window. The earliest known occupant of the house is A. J. Byrd (assistant superintendent, Home Security Life Insurance Company) in 1925.
