Charlie Hackney House. 2-story side-gable I-House with much alteration, including all-over vinyl, replacement sash windows, a 1-story hipped porch with vinyl-covered columns, and an upstairs front addition and porch balcony addition. The house stood one-story tall originally. The upper story was added later. Textile worker Charles Hackney lived here from the early 1910s for many years. {Roberts, Durham A&HI, 89] 1937 SM.
