Early Boyd House. 1-story tri-gable house with weatherboard, 6-over-6 sash windows, and a hipped porch with boxed posts and a replacement railing. The prominent quartz rock gable end chinmeys are likely replacements. 1913 SM. 1930-1940 CDs: Early Boyd owner/occupant. Early Boyd Grocery at No. 2006.

I gew up in this home. It had 8 rooms and 10ft high ceilings and a wonderful screened in back porch. We moved in the home in 1965 and my mother remained there until my father's death in 1994. Great memories there. My mother, 4 brothers, 1 sister and I all were sad to see it destroyed.
