This home, built in 1971 by Dr. George Brumley, a Duke Physician, and his wife Jean, a member of the Stanback Headache Powder Company family, sits in a commanding postition at the apex of Windsor Way, Devon Road and Surrey Road.

The house has been home to just three families since it was built, the Brumleys, the Aikens, and the Easons.  Extensive interior remodels accompanied each sale, but the exterior has remained remarkably unchanged.
