One-and-one-half-story 1950s brick-veneered cottage with restrained Colonial Revival details including leaded fanlight at entrance.

The Durham Morning Herald reported on October 25, 1949: "C. A. Herrin was issued two permits, each for the construction of a seven-room house with a garage attached. The houses will be built by Herrin at a cost of $15,000 each and will be located at 900 and 902 Urban Ave."
