My husband and I owned this house from 1997-2009. We were told that it was originally built as a retirement cottage for the parents of Commodore Council, living next door in 1001 Gloria. I do know there was a path just under the surface of the lawn that led to their back yard, and for years there was a gate there in the chain link fence. Fun fact: the garage behind 311 N. Gregson actually belongs to 1001 Gloria.
