Comments

I grew up in this house. It was built in 1952, occupied for the first time in September of 1952. It was built as a two bedroom, with a third bedroom and second bathroom added around 1964.

The land for this house was a wedding gift to my mother and father, Mildred V. and Carl L. Peed, from my grandfather, Claude T. Vickers. My daddy built the house for my mother and they moved in with their one week old daughter, Laura, in September 1952. They lived there for the rest of their lives.
