I'm one of those folks who almost never visits the Museum of Life and Science, because I arrived in Durham as a late-teen and haven't had any kids in the ~30 years hence. But I'm glad that it's there -- it seems to make many people very happy. And thanks to some friends who just got married on the grounds, I finally (finally!) visited the fantastic Butterfly House and rode the choo-choo train!
SEO note: your title and URL have "MUESEUM" instead of "MUSEUM" :-)

When I was a kid the museum was much smaller. Only on the south side of Murray Ave. There was the dinasaur trail, reptile house, a few monkeys and such. A WWII tank, and later on the Piedmont Airplane.Oh, and the caboose.
