"Mr. Evan Wilkins with butter he is selling which was made on his farm." - November 1939; FSA Collection, LOC (Marion Post Wolcott)

In 1939, Mr. Wilkins would have met either J. Sidney Glenn or his wife Delia at the top of these steps. Mr. Glenn's occupation is listed as "watchman."

One and one half story, weatherboarded bungalow. Massive front gable stretching the full width of house with large brackets sup- porting eaves and a distinctive three-part window in gable.

Comments

As a side note, Delia Kelly Glenn was a passenger on the
first Streetcar run from Mangum Street to Lakewood Park.
