1210 Holloway, 1980
1210 Holloway was built during the 1910s for Ernest L. Ball, a salesman. Ball lived here until the mid-1950s, at which point the house appears to have become a boarding or rental house.
In 1980, the Historic Inventory folks wrote about 1210 Holloway:
The freshly painted pressed tin roof of this recently restored two-story frame house enhances the surrounding block of relatively intact early 20th century houses. The main portion of the hip-roofed house is L-shaped with a side hall plan; a one-story gable roofed wing is attached to the rear.
Alas, the house was visited by the Slumlord Fairy sometime between then and now; the SF used her magic wand to liberally apply vinyl, bad small/fake muntined replacement windows, and an asphalt roof - but, at least it is still standing.
