One-and-one-half story frame bungalow. All-encompassing gable roof broken on main facade by wide recessed shed dormer. Slightly tapered box posts support full-facade recessed porch. Built late 1920s; earliest known occupant was Frederick A.G. Cowper, a Duke University professor.
